Power and Conflict Poetry
So, we have come to end of the poems - 15 in total- and it is now time to begin drawing links between them. How do they 'fit' together? Why types of Conflict and Power are explored? Inner conflict? Physical conflict of war or battle? Power of the strong over the weak? These are the types of questions we will be asking over the next 3 weeks.
Remember that you will need a really good working knowledge of ALL of the 15 poems, as we cannot predict what will appear on the exam paper in 2017! You will get one poem printed in the exam and will them be expected to compare with one other from the cluster. ( yes, it might be Tissue, I know...)
Make sure your notes are in good order and that each of the 15 poems are annotated for

Please do ask for help if you are 'stuck'; that is what I am here for! Practise makes perfect, so we will be linking by themes and ideas and then doing some past papers, as well as making up our own questions for some of the poems.
